Block Party on Calder!
The City of Beaumont is hosting a block party on Thursday, Oct. 14, to usher in the completion of Phase II of the Calder Avenue Project from MLK to 11th Street, and show its appreciation for the businesses along Calder.
The free event, which will run from 5 to 8 p.m., will feature live music by Jerry Diaz and Hanna’s Reef.
Calder business owners will be on hand to greet their loyal customers and meet new ones. The block party will take place on Calder Avenue, between 7th and 8th Streets, in front of Easy’s Tapas. For more information, call 409-880-3770.
