- Saint Arnold Brewery: Love the beer? Schedule a tour. The brewery is just an hour away from most of our readers.
- Shiner: (Spoetzl Brewery). Shiner Bock was the first big Texas specialty beer I discovered when I was at the University of Texas. They still develop new varieties each year using ingredients locally sourced here in Texas including grapefruit and prickly pear.
- Austin Eastciders: Okay, it’s not a beer. It IS a craft brew – cider made in Austin. They have cider made from a variety of fresh fruit: apple, orange, grapefruit, pineapple, and mango.
- Rogue Ales: Rogue is known for cool graphics on their cans and bottles and beer that is even better. Some of our favorites include Knuckle Buster IPA, Gumbaroo, Colossal Claude, and Brave Noise IPA.
