The Oaks Historic District Sets Theme for 2015 Preservation Bash: Bourbon and Blues
The Oaks Historic District in Beaumont has set the theme for their 2015 Preservation Bash: Bourbon and Blues.
This year’s event will be held on April 18th at 7pm.
Each year, the Oaks Historic District in Beaumont hosts the Preservation Bash as a fundraiser for their charitable giving.
Recent projects assisted by the Oaks Historic District include:
- Landscaping along Pecos Blvd. & Beech Street
- Ida Reed Dog Park at 7th and Louisiana Street
- Intersection signage in OHD
- Julie Rogers Theater restoration
- Dogtoberfest, sponsored by Main Street Beaumont
- Art Bike Racks along Calder
- Bought and planted oak trees for participating home owners to replace lost trees after hurricanes
Each year, the Preservation Bash features:
- Great SETX live music
- Excellent food and drink
- A silent auction
